Iphone SE drenched in red colour for AIDS prevention and awareness

Mobile Phone Giant, Apple is gearing up for it’s big launches. The company is prepping up for Samsung S8 launch which is slated to launch on March 29.

On Tuesday, Apple launched a new red colour variant of the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. Alongside, the company also launched variants of the iPhone SE with more storage. Notably, the SE version has been priced at the same level as Iphone 7 new variants.

Not only this, Apple also launched a new iPad which includes FaceTime cameras on front and rear, Touch ID for unlock and Apple SIM in cellular models.

The limited edition red iPhone would contribute to fund the global fight against AIDS, the Cupertino-based firm said.

“Since we began working with (RED) 10 years ago, our customers have made a significant impact in fighting the spread of AIDS through the purchase of our products, from the original iPod nano (PRODUCT) RED Special Edition all the way to today’s lineup of Beats products and accessories for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch,” CEO Tim Cook said.

“Apple is the world’s largest corporate donor to the Global Fund, contributing more than $130 million as part of its partnership with (RED),” said Deborah Dugan, (RED)’s CEO.

Product (RED) is a collaborated charity which has joined hands with major corporations to donate a part of their proceeds to AIDS research.

The red iPhones will offer two variants in terms of storage – 128GB and 256GB versions.

The company has also took to Online selling. Now the iPhone is available to order online worldwide. The device will also be available on shelves by  March 24 at a starting price of INR 49,000.

We know that Apple is not a cookie-cutter, in the digital arena. It’s constant endeavours to update and render a new face to iPhone series is phenomenal
