Actor Irrfan Khan posted a tweet on March 5th about his “rare disease” that came as heartbreaking news for many. In the tweet, Irrfan said that he is trying to fight the illness and will soon update the details.

However, the news soon took the shape of anticipations and guesses and the next thing we know, everyone started talking about the actor suffering from brain cancer and that he has been admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai.
Some of the reports also revealed that the actor is on fourth stage of cancer and his fans around the country started praying for his health. Undoubtedly that’s quite flattering and overwhelming to have so many people praying for you but at the same time, people simply ignored his request of refraining from any speculations.
As much the actor emphasized on the fact that he is going to update the details himself, no one waited for his next tweet and instead got influenced by the rumour mill that his “rare disease” is brain cancer.
The truth was actually revealed by Trade Analyst Komal Nahta who tweeted that although the actor is unwell, the horrendous news about him being hospitalized is fake. He also wrote that Irrfan is in New Delhi.
Although IrrfanKhan is unwell, all malicious news being spread about him and his condition since an hour or two are untrue. Likewise, all other horrendous news relating to his hospitalisation are fake. By God’s grace, Irrfan is in Delhi and that’s the only truth.

Meanwhile, an official from Kokilaben Hospital also confirmed that the actor isn’t getting his treatment over there. Besides, a spokesperson for the actor who earlier stated that it’s a severe case of jaundice has now refused to comment on the matter.
It’s still not known what “rare disease” Irrfan Khan is suffering from but it’s definitely not brain cancer. All we can do is, wait for Irrfan’s next tweet and put all other speculations on hold. Here’s wishing the actor a speedy recovery.
