Today, the entire nation is ushering their love and respect to the dynamic and real gem that was ever born in India. Yes, its APJ Abdul Kalam’s 84th birth anniversary that is filling the entire nation with humongous pride and zeal. Though our missile man signed off this year, his memories are still making its mark in everyone’s heart.

Speaking at the event at DRDO Bhavan here, the PM said Kalam was a ‘rashtra ratna‘ before a `Rashtrapati`.  Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday unveiled a statue of late former president Dr APJ Abdul Kalam to mark his 84th birth anniversary. It was also announced that the Government has also acquired a land in his homeland Rameshwaram, where a memorial will also be built to inspire the future generations.

The significant work of Abdul Kalam in various fields speak volume and will be progressive for the country. A man who has always welcomed challenges in life while other people look for comfort, he is truly a backbone that served the country on a rising graph.

Modi said “Dr Kalam had not only risen himself from humble beginnings to the highest office in India, but had also built great institutions, virtually from scratch, underlined the PM. He said all of us should draw inspiration from his example.”

The Prime minister also unleashed a photo exhibition dedicated to Kalam and titled by “A Celebration of Dr. Kalam’s Life.”

APJ Abdul Kalam was a teacher, who always occupied deep place in the heart of children as an inspiring agent.

Kalam left for his heavenly abode in July 2015 was a scientist and served in various domains before becoming the 11 President of India from 2002 to 2007.
