The makers of Kaabil release official movie trailer after sources leak it on the internet yesterday.
Sanjay Gupta, who’s famous for directing power-packed thrillers like ‘Jazbaa’, ‘Kaantein’ and ‘Shootout at Wadala’ stepped into the limelight again with his upcoming movie Kabil, starring Hritik Roshan, Yami Gautam and the Roy brothers in lead roles. The 2-minute-22-seconds long Kabil movie trailer ropes in sentiments, joyful moments, romance, revenge and suspense.
Kabil Movie Story: An Upbeat Amalgamation of Badlapur & Black?
The trailer starts on a light note with the optimistic, ever-cheerful but visually impaired Rohan Bhatnagar, (played by Hritik) stepping into the scene. He charms us with his strength, confidence and ideologies about life. Despite his world being dark due to blindness, he has great hopes for his future.
“Aadmi pe khud ka bharosa, uski taakat hoti hai. Tum aur main kamzor nahin”…
He sweeps Su (Yami), off her feet with his fascinating smiles and pleasing ways. While a mystified and ‘eyeless’ Su is sceptical about leading rest of her life with Rohan “Do negatives positive kaise ho sakte hain, Andhera, Andhere ko Roshan toh Nahi kar sakta“, Rohan is clear about what he wants from life, and that is Su’s companionship. But he managed to worm his way into her heart with his genuine and realistic nature, “Lekin Andhere mein kisi ka saath ho na Su, toh Andhera kam lag sakta hai“.
With Su giving into his magic, we’re taken on a rollercoaster ride of emotions, romance and a beautiful wedding. We get to see some real chemistry between the 27-year old Yami and Hritik, who’s almost twice her age.

The ‘visionless’ couple is happy to have each other! Throw in a peppy song ‘Mahamoh’ that packs in perky dance steps and cute love scenes. There you’ve a perfect love story! The love birds are on cloud nine, but their happy lives fell apart when something terrible happens to Su. She’s probably molested and kidnapped by one of the Roy brothers– Ronit and Rohit Roy, who’re quite persuasive as villains. A heart-broken Rohan, undeterred by the incident decides to avenge Su’s misery.
As his quest for justice continues, Rohan realizes that the existing system in our country is darker than the darkness existing in their lives. “Humare duniya se zada andhera to aapke law and order mein hai“. Losing faith in system, he decides to take matters into his hand.
“Ye khel shuru unhone kiya tha, tamasha aapne dekha hai par khatam main karunga“.
We see him in a convincing action-packed avatar, with a couple of fighting scenes in row. He’s prepared to beat the villains, but unfortunately, there’s no life line in this game. It’s either him or them. So, the chase continues! Will Rohan find Su? Will Su be able to live a normal life again? Will the brothers get punished for their deed? What does Rohan have in his mind? These questions will repeatedly haunt the viewers.
Hopefully we’ll get answers on 26th January, 2017. The suspense, scenes and story are a dramatic mixture of Black and Saathiya, but closest to Raghavan’s Badlapur, including the ‘Yami’ factor and the suspense following an incident with protagonist’s wife. Nevertheless, with Hritik back in power, Kaabil promises style, suspense and adventure. We anxiously await its release!
