Actress Kangana Larnout appears in front of Mumbai police on December 22 in connection with the FIR registered against her for an Instagram post she made about a peasant protest. The FIR for Ranaut was recorded at the Khar police station, which allegedly hurt the sentiment of the Sikh community.

FIR was registered on November 23, following complaints from Mulund-based Amarjeetsingh Sandhu and the leaders of the Delhi Seekgurdwara Executive Committee (DSGMC) and Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD). Ranaut delivered an email on November 21st.

Based on the complaint, Khar Ranaut police made an appointment under Section 295A of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). This involves deliberate and malicious acts aimed at offending all classes of religious sentiment by insulting the religion or belief.

Ranaut has referred to the Bombay High Court, requesting the abolition of FIR. At a hearing on December 13, the court asked Ranaut if he would appear in front of the police, and she agreed.

Following their guarantee, the court announced the matter on January 25 for further hearing. The Maharashtra state government also notified the court that no compulsory action would be taken against them until then.

A petition was recently filed with the Supreme Court requesting Ranaut to censor all of her social media posts for the future in order to maintain national law and order.

Attorney Charanjeet Singh Chandapal said her postings on social media should not be allowed without modification, deletion, modification, or censorship in order to maintain the law and order of the country. Stated.
