Confirmed: The Kapil Sharma Show will go Off-air in June if TRP’s remain sluggish

We told you earlier that Sunil Grover is adamant to not join Kapil Sharma again. Along with Sunil Grover, his colleagues too deserted the show, leaving Kapil Sharma in a hap-hazard situation.

The highest rated television show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ has fallen from riches to rags. Literally! After the mid-air brawl which Kapil and his ex-colleagues indulged in, the show semms to have lost ground.

Kapil had been given a one-month notice to shoot up crashing TRP’s of the ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’.  Our sources tell us that kapil had been given  a very relaxed timeline to recover the lost TRP and come back with a bang!

Reportedly, the contract between Kapil and Sony Channel ends on coming April 22. If things had been Status Quo, as earlier, the contract would have automatically renewed. However, as things have gone south for the show, the show is mulling over other alternatives to replace Kapil’s show.

[themify_box style=”yellow”]Nonetheless, the channel has doled out a ‘bonus’ extension of two months to Kapil to upswing his TRP. “If there is no improvement in the TRPs in April and May, then the show will be cancelled in June,”  a source privy to the matter revealed.[/themify_box]

The unceremonious mid-flight physical abuse which was indecorous for a celebrity like Kapil Sharma to indulge in, has become quite a disgrace for the comedian-turned actor cum producer.

The Bollywood industry which has praised and appreciated Kapil only gifted him a cold shoulder on his birthday. The actor had his birthday not long ago. However, no prominent celebrity greeted or wished him.

Kapil has perhaps not been able to handle success, as what Raju Shrivastava too quoted. Media agencies which are literally hunting for Kapil said in a statement, Has Kapil gone into the forests which has no network,” signaling to failed attempts to connect with the comedian.

Not only this, one of Kapil’s friend also tweeted “Kapil needs to take a break and do some serious introspection. He needs to know where he’s gone wrong and start again. It is not too late to do so.”

How Kapil Sharma recovers from the self-created chaos remains to be seen. Until then, it’s only Raju Shrivastava and a couple of other faces to bear every weekend.
