It’s official: Karan Johar and Kajol put a full stop to their friendship

In Bollywood, friendship is indeed a myth.

The most decorated relationship in B-Town has been undeniably that of Karan Johar, Kajol and ShahRukh Khan. The trio have taken the quotient of friendship amidst the Bollywood drama of intense hoaxing and supreme controversies. Categorically, Kajol and Karan have collaborated for more than 25 years in the film industry. So much that Kajol was considered a Karan Johar’s lucky charm.

Both Karan and Kajol have collaborated for blockbuster films like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998) and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001), and then again in 2010: My Name Is Khan. However, this is an end to the long-lasted friendship of Kajol and Karan.

And this is no speculation. The stellar filmmaker, Karan Johar has officially announced his fallout with his famous muse, Kajol. Karan Johar writes about the end of his friendship with Kajol in his new autobiography, An Unsuitable Boy. An excerpt from the movie said, “I don’t have a relationship with Kajol anymore. We have had a fallout.”

Karan Johar’s autobiography says that Kajol’s reaction in October reaffirmed the director-cum-actor Karan about Kajol’s losing interest in sustaining the relationship. “That tweet validated the insanity that she could believe I could bribe someone. I felt that’s it. It’s over. And she can never come back to my life. I don’t think she wants to either. I never want to have anything to do with them as a unit. She was the one who mattered to me and now it’s over,” he wrote.

Karan Johar also added: “I wouldn’t like to give her a piece of myself to her at all because she’s killed every bit of emotion I had for her for 25 years. I don’t think she deserves me. I feel nothing for her anymore.”

This incident has sure validated the fact that ‘In the sugar-coated world of Bollywood, there is no word like friendship which exists.’
