Key Highlights from PM Modi’s Jaipur Visit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a public meeting in Jaipur today. The focus of today’s rally was laid upon 12 flagship schemes of centre and state government. Here, Modi interacted with more than 2 Lakh beneficiaries and talked about the progress of Rajasthan over the past few years.

PM Modi laid the foundation stone for 13 urban infrastructure projects worth INR 2100 Crores. He also talked about the aims and objectives of the government and at the same time lauded the efforts of CM Raje led state government towards the progress of the state. Mentioned below are the key highlights from today’s Jaipur rally:

• Prime Minister Narendra Modi was received at the airport by Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje and State Governor Kalyan Singh.

• As soon as he arrived on the stage there was a huge round of applause from the audience. After a brief introductory speech by CM Raje, some AV clips showcasing the success story of the beneficiaries were displayed and later many of them were called on stage to greet the Prime Minister.

• Modi hailed the land of Rajasthan and its hospitality and greeted the crowd. He also talked about the rich history of the state, citing examples of Maharana Pratap, Maharaja Suraj Mal, etc.

• He lauded the work of CM Raje and talked about the tough situation when she took oath as the Chief Minister. She assumed the office at a time when the system was not working properly but over the past 4 years, she has led the state towards so much of progress.

• He also emphasized the fact that whether it’s the centre or state, the government is totally dedicated to ensuring the development of the country for which constant efforts are being made.

• PM Modi also talked about the MSP Hike that was recently approved by the centre for the welfare of farmers. He said that all the farmers will get 1.5 times the cost of the crops like wheat, barley, etc.

• He also laid emphasis on the fact that the government has been able to fulfill the dreams and aspiration of the people of Rajasthan. He mentioned about the achievements of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Jan Dhan Yojna, and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna.

• He also said that schemes like Ujjawala Yojna and Mudra Yojna have successfully benefited the people of the state by providing them a better and secure future.

• He also took a dig at Congress as to how the development works that are now being carried out should have been done earlier but the then ruling party of Congress failed to do so. He even gave the term “Bail-Gaadi” to Congress as many leaders of the party are out on bail.
