Xiaomi has been growing in Indian market. It has also launched a new smartphone Redmi 5A. Xiaomi announced this new Redmi 5A as ‘Desh ka Smartphone’ in India. The base variant of Redmi 5A is Rs 5999 but for first five million customers it will be available at 4,999. Know the first impression of 5A first Impressions.
The phone looks very impressive and very light weighted too. It’s a handy phone due to its 5-inch screen and rounded edges cover its 8.35mm thickness. It displays 720×1280 resolution.
Talking about the colours availability, it is available in Gold, Dark Gray, and Rose. In fact, the Redmi 5A’s box is bright red and there’s only a tiny Xiaomi logo in one corner.
Redmi 5A offers 3,000 mAh non-removable Lithium-Ion battery. Even the company claims that they have optimised the battery in Redmi 5A and it provides eight days of standby time.
It is a dual-sim phone with option of two Nano-SIMs space and space for a separate microSD card. you can insert a microSD card of up to 128GB. The Redmi 5A runs MIUI 9, Xiaomi’s custom UI. From the lockscreen, you can swipe right to quickly pull up the IR remote app, flashlight, and a Mi Home app which lets you control Xiaomi home appliances.
In this new phone by Xiaomi, there are some also preloaded apps like the Microsoft Office and Skype apps, Amazon Shopping, WPS Office and UC News, in addition to Google’s usual ones.
The Xiaomi Redmi 5A has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor. It has two variants- 2GB RAM with 16GB of storage and 3GB RAM with 32GB of storage. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera.
