Yet another controversy has surrounded Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP), when Madhya Pradesh Minister Kusum Mehdele was caught on camera kicking a 14 year old boy, allegedly because he was begging her for some money.
The video published by a national news channel on a Social media platform went viral in no time, where people commented for a strict action against the lady minister. The initial parts of video clearly shows that Animal Husbandry Minister Kusum Mehdele, used her foot to keep the boy out of her way when she was about to board her car.
The incidence took place on 1st October, meant to be a foundation day of Madhya Pradesh state. The early reports of the incidence took place at Panna district – located 400 kms away from state capital, where minister came down for a cleanliness drive and swiped the road near local bus stand.
The minister, a BJP legislator has completely declined the charges against Kusum Mehdele.
Narottam Mishra, Spokesperson, MP government said “No such incidence took place. Still Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Chouhan will have words with Kusum Mehdele”.
Whereas BJP Spokesperson Hitesh Vajpayee said that the party had a word with the minister. “She denied the allegation. She is a senior women minister and needs to be trusted for her version. Besides the video clip needs to be investigated too.”
The same senior women minister of BJP was surrounded on her statement of passing a law, which allows people to domesticate Lions and Tigers as pets, given in March earlier this year.
