Katti Batti (18th Sep)

This film starring Imran Khan and Kangana Ranaut appears refreshing and exciting in more ways than one. Right from the unconventional casting to the unexpected character approach, the film promises to bring a unique groove into the mix. The trailer has a nerdy Imran Khan fall for the fiery Kangana Ranaut, who is looking to be in a relationship that doesn’t tie her down. Things appear to be going steady till the trailer drops a twist in the fray. What follows is unwanted relationship advice and drama from Imran’s friends after his girlfriend Kangana disappears without a word. What follows is a journey to prove to the world that true love exists, but does it always win? With just months till its September 18th release, it’s not a long wait till the audiences have an answer to that question.

Wazir (2nd Oct)

The game of chess always brings along with it a nerve wrecking nervous energy and the two teasers released for this star-studded offering, directed by Bejoy Nambiar come with a similar energy for its viewers. The trailer and teaser both depict a complex story which it seems is recounted over a game of chess. Farhan Akhtar and Amitabh Bachchan are shown to be engrossed in a game of chess, where in the trailer the story of Amitabh’s possible death is narrated and ends with Farhan making the next move. The story then continues in the second teaser where the story of Farhan’s possible death is narrated till the player is altered. The first promos show a mysterious bond among the actors with Neil Nitin Mukesh and John Abraham in the mix and the beautiful Aditi Rao Hydari playing Farhan’s love interest. Blood, murder, mystery and a National angle to the story make this film, previously titles Do is among the most anticipated.
