In a frightening incident seen on a surveillance camera, a guy yanked a woman out of her sleep and shoved her in front of a speeding train close to Mumbai. He then sped off with the woman’s two children. The woman, who was presumably the man’s wife, passed away.
The Vasai railway station’s CCTV cameras captured terrifying images of the tragedy. According to the railway police, the event happened on Monday about 4 a.m.
The woman can be seen dozing off on a platform bench in the video as the man comes and wakes her up. They are observed exchanging brief words with one another. As a train draws near, the man abruptly drags her toward the tracks and pushes her over the platform.
The woman was killed when the Awadh Express train ran through. The man was then spotted waking up two neighbouring toddlers who were asleep.
Since Sunday afternoon, the couple had been residing at the station. According to the railway police, the man first travelled to Dadar after the event before continuing on to Kalyan.
Police are looking through CCTV footage in an effort to apprehend the suspect.
