Manu Bhaker and Anmol won Gold at ISSF Junior World Cup

In the ISSF Junior World Cup, India’s Anmol and Manu Bhaker climbed atop the podium and took India’s seventh gold medal. Anmol is 19 year old and Manu is 16 year old. At the Sydney International Shooting Centre, these two young shooters won the mixed 10m air pistol event. They have the highest qualification score of 478.9 points and only 1.8 points away from current world record. Well.. both of them also set a new Junior Qualification World Record with 770 points.

Who finished at second and third position?
Talking about the winners of silver and bronze medals in shooting, both awarded to the People’s Republic of China. The winners of silver are Liu Jinyao (20) and Li Xue (18) with 473.3 points while Wang Zhehao (19) and Xiao Jiaruixuan (15) won bronze medals with 410.7.

Other shooters from India
Other duo of Indian shooters Gaurav Rana (18) and Mahima Turhi Agrawal (19) finished very close to the bronze with 370.2 points and placing 4th in the event.

ISSF Junior World Cup Rifle / Pistol / Shotgun
The ISSF Junior World Cup is going in Sydney, Australia. The event was stared on 19 March and will end on 29 March, 2018. Till now, China is at the first position with 22 medals and India stands second with 18 medals.
