Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella meets PM Narendra Modi

Satya Nadela, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella meets PM Narendra Modi and several other ministers to discuss the development of IT sector and enhancing the partnerships towards initiatives like Digital India which is a campaign launched by the government of India in his recent visit to the country.

Satya Nadella, the Indian born is on his third visit to the native country where he met the Minister of State for finance Jayant Sinha, Minister of Communications and IT Ravi Shankar and many other industry developers and leaders.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi after his meeting with Satya Nadella took it twitter and posted, “Discussed various issues pertaining to the IT sector with @Microsoft CEO @satyanadella @MicrosoftIndia.’

Nadella on the other hand has offered support to various government schemes and initiatives like Startup India and Digital India and discussed about Microsoft’s role in enhancing these initiatives. Also, minister Ravi Shankar Prasad after his meeting and discussions with Naela posted on the micro blogging site, “CEO @Microsoft @satyanadella met me today. Discussed enhancing cooperation with Microsoft towards @_DigitalIndia,”

Satya Nadela also met various industry executives and leaders in ameeting organised by the industry body CII. The meeting was attended by leaders like Intel IL&FS chairman Ravi Parthasarathy, V-P Sales and Marketing and South Asia MD Debjani Ghosh, NIIT CEO Rahul Patwardhan, and Wipro president and COO Bhanumurthy BM.
