Within the next two years, the Modi Government would recruit over 2.2 lakh central employees in the government. It seems like the party itself is countering its own mantra of ‘Minimum Government, Maximum Governance’.
The staffs of the Narendra Modi central government is supposedly set to increase from 33.05 lakh employees in 2015 to 35.23 lakh employees by 2017. Reports say that the highest increase in the employees would probably be seen in the revenue department as it has seen a recruitment freeze for several years. To seek out the entries, vacancies have been piled up for approximately 6 lakh unoccupied posts.
Also, more than 45000 posts will be filled in the Central paramilitary forces department. By far, the strength of the home ministry has increased by 6000.
Let us tell you that in the last two years, 6000 jobs in the urban development ministry, 4399 in mines ministry, 2200 in the I&B (Information and Broadcast) ministry and 1000 in the department of space has been increased.
