Priyanka Chopra, Bollywood’s desi girl is undoubtedly rolling over the world in her own style and elegance. From being a Miss India in 2000 to being one of the ‘Biggest Stars in India’ to the leading lady in Hollywood’s hit TV show ‘Quantico’, PC has certainly come a long way. With more than 50 Bollywood movies, and one Hollywood movie ‘Baywatch’ in pocket she is a dream girl and a passionate inspiration for everyone out there. She believes she can be Lady James Bond and says she want to have a legacy. We are with you Priyanka, keep making us proud, like you always have been. Priyanka Chopra is truly an Indian star who has reached heights and platforms; no Indian actor has ever reached. She really is global star now and we could not be more proud of her. She never leaves an opportunity go off.

In her recent interview with a leading newspaper she said,

“My aim is to shatter the glass ceiling”. When asked about presenting awards at prestigious award shows like Oscar and Emmys and winning hearts over the globe, she said, “I keep setting higher standards for myself. I’m my own competition. My aim is to raise the bar and shatter the glass ceiling. I’ve always believed that no one can tell you that you can’t do something. I don’t know where I’m heading but I just want to keep walking.”

On the Global Citizen Festival she said:

As far as the Global Citizen Festival in New York is concerned, I’m very excited. There are going to be some amazing performances. I’m co-hosting with Hugh Jackman, Salma Hayek Pinault and Neil Patrick Harris among others. Because of the Hindi film industry, I’ve got the opportunity to be on many global platforms, so I know my job and have trained well. What’s more exciting is that I’m going to talk about the Indian Global Citizen Festival on stage tonight. The concert in Mumbai will be very entertaining. Apart from international artistes, Amir Khan, Farhan Akhtar and Katrina Kaif will also be on stage.”

Talking about the GCF in Mumbai and how this festival will help India, she proudly said, “What’s special about this campaign is that it gives people the ability to empower themselves. I think it’s important to have a concert like this in the country. The idea is to end extreme poverty by 2030. The initiative will focus on quality education, gender equality, and clean water and sanitation among other things. It’s tough but at least people have taken a step to advocate the crowd who will attend the concert. The tickets aren’t free; you will actually have to earn them by doing tasks. This isn’t just an event where celebrities will come and sing. That is just the reward. It’s the start of a movement.”

She truly slays making our hearts skip a beat. Priyanka Chopra, you are FLAWSOME!
More power to you, PC <3
