Navjot Singh Sidhu Hospitalized, Suffering from Deep vein Thrombosis

Former Indian Cricketer and most energetic commentator Navjot Sindhu has been hospitalized on Tuesday evening in Delhi. The star cricketer has been diagnosed with Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT). After getting hospitalized he tweeted “Down but Not Out!”.

Navjot is famous for his one liners and most infectious laughter on the small screen, is suffering from DVT – caused due to blood clot in deep vein, which eventually affects normal blood circulation. It is life threatening disease, if not treated on time.

However Kapil Sharma hosts of a popular TV show “Comedy Nights with Kapil” which also features Sidhu as a Patron Judge. Kapil Sharma tweeted later on Tuesday night that Navjot Singh Sidhu is fine and recovering.

Sidhu is during the treatment has been kept on blood thinners. According to media sources he will hospitalized for few more days for the observations and speedy recovery.

However, “Sidhu’s hospitalization will not affect the telecast of laughter show as next shoot is scheduled on October 13th, but on behalf of our production unit we wish him a better health in next few days” said Kiku Sharda, a co-cast of Comedy Night with Kapil in a conversation with TOI.
