Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje, Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu meet NDA president nominee Ram Nath Kovind.

This Thursday, we saw Ram Nath Kovind address the MLAs and MPs of Rajasthan at the chief minister’s official residence. Just ahead of the presidential elections 2017, NDA president candidate Ram Nath Kovind paid a visit to BJP-ruled states to thank his fellow party members for their unconditional support. While addressing the congregation at 8, Civil Lines, Jaipur, Kovind vowed to uphold the dignity of the President’s office.

The NDA-nominee said he would extend just and equal treatment to all citizens of India, focus on fulfilling the expectations of the Indian youth and promoting modern education for the all-round development of our country. Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje and Union minister Venkaiah Naidu kept him company all this while.

Moved by his simplicity and determined attitude, we decided to dig up more facts on the prospective president of India. To our surprise, we found a video covering major episodes on Kovind’s past life. This special video was shot by ‘the Quint’ team on their visit to Mr. Kovind’s ancestral village Paraunkh in Kanpur Dehat.
