Neerja declared ‘tax-free’ in Rajasthan!

The latest released flick starring Sonam Kapoor ‘Neerja’ is a biographical  thriller which was based on the true life incident of the braveheart Neerja Bhanot who was shot and killed while saving passengers from terrorists on board the hijacked Pan Am Flight 73 on 5 September 1986. The film is written by Saiwyn Quadras,and is directed by Ram Madhvani.

Seeing its great success throughout the country since its release, many state governments have declared the movie tax-free so that to engage a lot of people to watch such an inspiring film. Following the same lately Rajasthan government too declared it as tax-free in all the theaters of the state.

The actress took it to the micro-blogging site and extended her gratitude towards the Chief Minister of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje for making her film tax free in the state.

Let us tell you that the courageous Neerja Bhanot was only 23 at the time of the incident and risking her own life she saved lives of 360 passengers. The movie was released on 19th February 2016 and has received high critical acclaim.

The nation is proud to remember such a brave and fearless personality and we are sure she must be smiling up there.
