Prime Minister Narendra Modi met all 13 Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states to map the future course for for State Assembly elections 2018. The meeting was attended by Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah amongst BJP chief ministers of 13 states coupled with other top Union Ministers including Home Minister Rajnath Singh, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari and Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu. Deputy CMs of five states were also present at the meeting held on Sunday.

The Chief Ministers gave presentations of various schemes and models applied by their governments. They also discussed the use of traditional and social media to inform people about various welfare initiatives.

At the meeting, PM Modi asked BJP chief ministers and deputy chief ministers to give inputs for formulating Vision 2022. It is nothing but a fundamental futuristic vision statement which will mark India’s growth till 2022, when India will celebrate it’s 75th year of Independence.

NaMo gave huge impetus to the 2019 elections which Narendra Modi is speculating to be a thumping win in BJP’s hat. In 2018, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Nagaland, Mizoram, Himachal Pradesh and Tripura will battle for state assemble elections which will set the tune for 2019 General Assembly Polls.

Recently elected Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath sought central aid to backlash a whopping debt of Rs 35000 crore, which has got state’s exchequer in troubled waters.

At the meeting, Narerndra Modi had one-to-one meeting with the 13 chief ministers of states to understand their state of affairs, challenges they are facing and possible remedies which will eradicate all bottlenecks in state.

“There is no room for complacency after victory,” Narendra Modi said with conviction. “The party should pledge to build a New India, where good governance and power to the poor should be the mantra, he added.
