The film Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran is based on real-life incidents. It depicts the story of India in1998 when the Indian government tested three nuclear bombs in the Pokhran range in Rajasthan.
The teaser contains a voice over by Boman Irani that narrates the incident from 1998 when India under one of its biggest secret mission. It talks about some of the incidents that have been some golden moments of Indian History including India’s independence in 1947, the 1971 War against Pakistan, and the 1983 World Cup Victory.
However, the 1998 secret operation whereby India tested the nuclear bomb in Pokhran remained a secret. The film aims to reveal the same as to how India tests the nuclear bombs and eventually a series of events took place that “shook the world”.
