In the series of smartphones coming into market every now and then, Oppo A83 is another one. This smartphone was launched on 17 January. The smartphone comes with its ‘AI Beauty Recognition Technology’. The company has launched this new phone with an aim to be selfie expert of the market.
It is a dual SIM smartphone that runs on Android 7.1. Inspired by UFO’s Curve Design Philosophy, the smartphone has 3GB RAM as well as 4GB RAM. The phone has a 5.7-inch HD+ (720×1440 pixels) LCD 18:9 display. Powered by a 2.5GHz octa-core processor, Oppo A83 comes with face unlock feature.
Considering the phone’s camera, it has 13-megapixel rear camera supported by an LED flash module. The phone has 8-megapixel camera in front with AI Beauty feature. This AI Beauty feature is aimed to improve the selfies. This feature will help in ‘classify, recognise, and beautify’ the portrait photographs.
In Oppo A83, there are standard set of connectivity options like GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, OTG, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 4G VoLTE. The smartphone packs a 3180mAh battery.
The smartphone is priced at Rs 13,990. Oppo A83 India is available in two colours Black and Gold. The smartphone will be available on Amazon, Flipkart and offline stores from 20 January.
