The nominations for Oscar 2018 had been closed now and the expectations are extremely high. As this is one of the most prestigious awards that recognize excellence in cinematic achievements so winning the golden statuette of Oscars is like a dream for the people.
Well.. this year Indians have something to be proud of. Priyanka Chopra, the Bollywood actress and Hollywood rising star is chosen to announce the nominations for the 90th Academy Awards. This has been declared by theInstagram page of The Academy. It reads,
“Behind the scenes with Priyanka Chopra. Tune in to the #OscarNoms announcement on Tuesday,” the photograph’s caption read.”
In this image, Priyanka is seen lounging in black cigarette trousers and metallic shimmery top. This is not the first time Priyanka is attending the ceremony. This will be her fourth consecutive year on the red carpet.
Along with renowned names of Hollywood – Rebel Wilson, Michelle Rodriguez and Rosaria Dawson, Priyanka will do the honours. From the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater, the nominations in all 24 award categories will be announced in a two-part, live presentation.
The Academy Awards 2018 will take place on 4 March at Dolby Theatre, Los Angeles.
