Padmaavat, the film that has undeniably become the most controversial film of the year, has finally been released and has already started receiving positive response and feedback. Not just the audience but the critics are also praising the performances of the star cast. Given that the film has gone through so much of trouble, the entire team including Ranveer and Deepika got quite overwhelmed and emotional with the positive messages pouring in.
Actor Ranveer Singh took to Twitter to express his gratitude towards Sanjay Leela Bhansali and wrote:

In a report by News18, the reports quoted Deepika saying:
“I am extremely overwhelmed and emotional right now. This film has been through so much and to see it’s finally releasing and to see the reactions to my performance, I am overwhelmed.”
She also added that now it’s time to celebrate as the movie has spoken for itself. She said that the box office numbers are going to be path-breaking.
Shahid Kapoor, who plays the role of Maharawal Ratan Singh in the film, was quoted as saying:
“So satisfying to see the response we are getting. Twitter has gone berserk and we are trying to keep up saying thank you.”

Interestingly, the star cast has been replying to all the tweets of the fans and friends on Twitter who are singing praises about the film and the phenomenal performances.
The screening of Padmaavat took place recently where Ranveer and Deepika were seen hand-in-hand, donning an ethical avatar. While the two lovebirds twinned in white, Shahid attended the event with wife Mira Rajput twinning in black. The screening was also attended by the entire family of Shahid and of course director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the man behind this epic film.
