Pak Army crosses LoC, mutilates bodies of 2 soldiers. Indian Army to retaliate in language Islamabad understands best

While Pakistan denies allegations of mutilating bodies of two Indian soldiers, Government of India deplored all acts of violence which the neighbouring country has inflicted on the nation’s lion-hearted soldiers. The mutilation of two jawans instigated the Indian government to give a “free hand” to the Indian army to counter the inhumane nature of Pakistan soldiers.

Acting Defense Minister Arun Jaitley said that the country has full faith in the Army and the jawans’ martyrdom will not go in vain.

“The Act of killing & mutilating the bodies of two of our soldiers is the most reprehensible & barbaric. The sacrifice will not go in vain,” Jaitley tweeted. “We have fullest confidence in our Armed forces who will react appropriately,” he added. “This is a reprehensible and an inhuman act. Such attacks do not take place during war,” he said.

The barbaric incident occurred on early Monday morning. The joint team of Border Security Force (BSF) and Indian Army Personnel were patrolling at Krishna Ghati. Indian Army termed Border Action Team (BAT) of the Pakistani Army’s act as “unsoldierly” and “despicable”.

The victimized bodies have been identified as head constable Prem Sagar of BSF and Naib Subaidar Paramjit Singh of the Army. The Indian Army will give a befitting response to the ‘act of barbarism’ by Pakistan.

“At about 8:30 a.m., there was heavy firing from Pakistani (army) posts at BSF posts along the LoC in Krishnagati sector of Poonch district with rockets and automatic weapons,” a senior BSF officer said.

“It was a pre-planned operation by Pakistan army. They had pushed in the Border Action Team over 250 metres deep inside Indian Territory and set up the ambush for a long period to carry out the attack,” a senior officer said in Jammu.

Such barbaric incidents were also reported in October and November last year.
