Hafiz Saeed comments again, asked “Pakistan military to send its troops into Kashmir to teach India a lesson”

Hafiz Muhammad Saeed - troops

Hafiz Saeed, the chief of Jamaat-ud-Dawa is back again with his comments on recent issue of Kashmir. It has been over a month that this prevalent issue of Kashimir is boiling over and over again. It is related to retaliation for killing of Hizbul Mujahideen commander named Burhan Wani. On the incident which took place last month, Hafiz Saeed has asked Pakistan military to send its troops into Kashmir to teach India a lesson.

Pakistan Media suggests this statement to be valid because Hafiz Saeed who was the mind behind 26/11 incident, has directly asked this to Pakistan Army Chief General Raheel Sharif.

Before this comment or rather request, Saeed has commented on last month’s protests on Indian Kashmir. He said that the “Protests will intensify and my warning is that all deaths in the region would not go in vain.”

Saeed attended a meeting in Lahore today, where he stated, “This time the people in Kashmir are on streets. This protest has become a mass movement. All groups in Kashmir have united. All the wings of the Hurriyat have become one. The Muttahida Jihad Council and all other groups have come on to the same platform. Those who have died in Kashmir, their deaths will not be in vain.”

In Kashmir Valley minimum 58 people were killed and many got injured. General people and members from the security forces turned hostile during the violence this protest created. It happened just after the Kashmiris had jammed the streets to slam killing of Wani.

Saeed has previously expressed solidarity for Wani’s death. He also said that “the Hizbul Mujahideen commander was prepared to die after talking to him.”  His revelation that also he received a call from Dukhtaran-e-Millat’s founder Asiya Andrabi and the latter wanted Saeed’s help regarding ‘the crisis on the Indian side of Kashmir’.

In the end Saeed has given out a warning to India. He says. “India could either accept separatist Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani’s four-point formula on Kashmir and withdraw security forces from the Valley, or face the decision in battlefield.”

A caravan by the name “Kashmir Caravan” is started by Hafiz Saeed which travels from Lahore to Islamabad. It includes buses as well as trucks. After covering good number of kilometers, this caravan has passed through many cities like Jhelum, Gujaranwala, etc. Many leaders and ministers attended these road rallies.

The question which arises in the end is that whether Pakistan supports Hafiz Saeed? Well all of this plus Pakistan Government’s approval to Saeed leading an anti-India rally on delicate issue of Kashmir in many ways hints of a strong support.
