Paytm Mall, an online marketplace has launched its second edition of Campus Icon programme which will entail hiring of 5000 college students. The programme was launched on Friday by its parent company – Paytm Ecommerce Pvt. Ltd.
This programme is aimed at imparting vocational skills to the students over a period of five weeks. This training is provided with an aim to ready the students for the industry and its nuances. The agenda is to make student industry-ready. For this purpose, The students will be assigned tasks and exercises in different domains like technology, marketing, and sales.
The programme will also have top performers, who will also be awarded cash prizes up to Rs 1 lac. The winners will be announced at a ceremony in Delhi NCR at the Paytm campus.
The first edition of this programme was launched in 2017, in which Paytm hired as many as 2,200 students. The second edition is open to 6000 Campuses in 25 States. Isn’t that great?
