People are heard in CM Vasundhara Raje’s regime in Rajasthan

For any politician, great connection with the mass is very important. People are the ones who select the government. People have the ultimate power. Governments are made by the people, of the people and for the people. Good governance never depends upon laws but on the personal qualities of those who govern. The machinery of government is always subordinate to the will of those who administer the machinery. The most important element of government, therefore, is the method of choosing leaders. Mere good governance is not enough; it has to be pro-people and pro-active. Good Governance is putting people at the centre of development process. Contrary to the prevailing notion, good governance is bad politics, in reality good governance is good politics. A government should work keeping in mind the welfare of the generations, not the next elections. We believe, so is Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje is doing.

CM every Friday, ever since she came into power, listens to the problems, grievances and struggles from the representatives of various districts, villages and hamlets in Rajasthan and then directs the concerned officials to take required actions accordingly. This was the first phase of her program ‘Jan Sunwai’ where only representatives, activists met CM Raje personally to seek help, solutions for their problems. Now from the next Friday onwards, CM Raje will begin her sessions with the general public. The first public hearing would be conducted for the residents of the capital city, Jaipur. Not just she, but her entire ministry is dedicated towards the welfare of the people. Whether she is in town or not, the other ministers conduct public hearings regularly. Along with CM Residence, ministers also conduct public hearing in the BJP state office. Public hearings are conducted at every level of the state including, district level, block level and even on the Rajasthan state government’s online portal-Raj Sampark.

This is not the first time CM has taken initiatives for the people of her state. She has taken many initiatives for the people like Sarakar Aapke Dawar, Nyay Aapke Dwar and many other which promise solutions to the problems and grievances faced by the residents at any stage of the government procedures. CM Raje has evolved herself as the people’s leader and why not when they are her absolute strength. Both the government and the people both at large must come together to achieve this national objective.
