Places to visit in Jammu near Mata Vaishno Devi Temple

Bhairavnath Temple:

Shiv Khori Temple:

They say your visit to Mata Vaishno Devi is not complete until and unless you visit this place. This cave is approximately 20 mins long and near to the Vaishno Devi temple.

Patnitop:

It is a beautiful hilltop at n altitude of 2024 meters and its scenic beauty makes it one of the most visited picnic spots in Jammu. It offers pine forests, lush green mountains by the sides and peaceful walks and gorgeous view of the mountainscape of the Chenab basin.

Sanasar:

Located at a distance of only 17kms from the picnic spot Patnitop, this is a must visit place. It is a cup shaped meadow which offers Para-gliding and other adventurous sports. It has now been developed and modified into a beautiful golf course surrounded by gigantic conifers.

Sudh Mahadev Temple:
jammu-5Believed to be of 2800 years old, this temple is a huge pilgrimage place in Jammu. This temple houses a natural black marble Lingam which is the centre of attraction of the temple. Tourists are also provided with temporary accommodation if required.
