Along with these, many other renowned people extended their wishes to Hon’ble home minister Amit Shah on his 55th birthday. Most of them took it to twitter to wish him.
Shah was raised in Maansa, Gujarat, her father’s village, till the age of sixteen. He was a student of the RSS for some time for Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad before joining BJP in 1984-85. There, Shah was distinguished by his administrative credentials and was named Bharathi National Treasurer Janata Yuva Morcha, then State Secretary and State Vice President of the Gujarat Group.
Under Narendra Modi, he held a number of key portfolios in Gujarat.
Shah, renowned for his keen economic acumen, became President of the BJP in 2014 shortly after NDA’s win. As a trusted lieutenant of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, just before the 2014 national elections, he was named party leader of Uttar Pradesh.
In fact, Shah, as the captain of the winning team, merits credit for transforming the political parties into an electoral machine. His record as BJP President was unmatched with one election in Lok Sabha and assembly polls at Maharashtra, Haryana, Jharkhand, Jammu-Kashmir, Assam, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh.
