Pratyush Joshi, A Tech Graduate Throwing Light On Intensive Civic Issues By Registering Them On RSP Portal

Pratyush Joshi who is a tech graduate from Jodhpur is very ardent about these civic problems and keep looking for any such unaccounted issues. He mentions it like, “This is a wonderful tool not only to hear about civic problems, but also to get them redressed in time, which is hardly expected”.

Rajasthan Sampark Portal is receiving distinct issues of civic woes from all around the Rajasthan state. RSP is an integrated system of the state government which works on issues like parks, roads, sewerage, water, lights and waste disposal. The reports say that, from the past 2 years, the system has received almost 150 such queries which are worth Rs. 4 crores. Most of the issues have been resolved and others are in procedure.

In the year 2014, he retreated from the safe shelter of his parents and moved to Chopasni House Board section of the city. During this period only, he came across plethora of civic miseries, people were going through.

He says, “I heard about this portal that it was launched recently. First I used it by posting about absence of dustbins in my locality. And to my surprise, I got a call from an official from JMC on the very next day, visit by them in next two days and in a week, we had a dustbin in our locality”.

His necessities brought him the need to get the plethora of issues registered from the districts of Pali and Barmer. These issues not only saw the rays of hopes but also got the matching solutions from the officials.

In short, he is initiating in getting all the probable and prevailing issues getting registered on this website and also take the follow up until these issues get untangled.

“This is a wonderful tool not only to hear about civic problems, but also to get them redressed in time, which is hardly expected,” says Pratyush Joshi.
