Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s UK Visit Remained Phenomenal for Both Nations

Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his three-day visit to UK, addressed Indian Diaspora at Wembley on Friday. During his speech Modi mentioned the day to be a historic, as it is beginning of great partnership between both the nations. PM stressed “India has the capacity to fulfill all your dreams.” He further added “There is no reason for India to remain poor, a country that is full of youth is unstoppable on this journey of development.”

However, Modi government is facing a high demonstration on various grounds; Narendra Modi did mention “India’s diversity is the country’s strength and pride,” highlighted the importance of peaceful co-existence.

Modi on Indo-UK relations said “Between two vibrant democracies we are celebrating this very special relationship in this very special venue.” Adding to it he thanked UK’s Prime Minister Cameron for his affection extended India. As Cameron welcoming Indian PM, assured that Indians has a permanent seat in UN Security council.

The Indian Prime Minister was given a warm welcome by the UK government and Indian community residing in UK, although a countable number of people majorly from Nepal, registered their anger against Modi. The broke-out was over the issue of interference in the inner issues of Nepal and border blockage.

Modi sharing his dream for India said “18000 villages in India are need of electricity and in next 1000 days we will ensure they get it.” Moreover, he expressed a deep concern over growing terrorism acts along with global warming issues, which is a major threat for both the countries in present time. He urged for a joined action on the issue, so that such activity can be controlled or literary be stopped.

Prior to this in welcome of Narendra Modi a number of cultural presentation was showcased, which included both Indian and international performers. The rapturous welcome consisted classical, folk art and contemporary music performances, along with a special performance of Scottish Bagpipers. The whole show was witnessed by nearly 60000 people present at Britain’s most famous sporting venues.

A special ‘ModiExpress’ buses was also deployed to transport the attendees from various parts of UK.
