After giving her strong and impressive performances in the American TV show Quantico, the actress just added a new feather to her cap after attending the 2016 White House Correspondents’ Dinner with the coolest US President ever Barack Obama and the First Lady Michelle Obama hosted by the famous comedian Larry Wilmore.
The 33 year old actress cum Singer was invite to attend the annual correspondents’ dinner and she accepted despite of her busy schedule as she is shooting or her debut Hollywood movie ‘Baywatch’ against Vin Diesel. After the dinner, the actress took it to twitter and instagram to post a picture with the Obamas and said, “Lovely to meet the very funny and charming @barackobama and the beautiful @michelleobama. Thank you for a lovely evening. Cannot wait to start working on your girls education program.”
Well yes, she would be working on an education programme which aims at educating more than 60 million girls worldwide who are not so fortunate to attend schools due to several reasons. . This initiative was started by the First lady Michelle Obama in 2015 and is named ‘Let Girls Learn’. The cause is supported in major by the US President himself.
The actress dined with Will Smith, Kerry Washington, Kim Kardashian’s model sister Kendall Jenner, Shonda Rhimes, Jada Pinkett Smith and many other Hollywood’s biggest names.
