Appreciating the role of teachers, Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje felicitated teachers, parents and other esteemed members of the state education department whose contributions brought about a ground-breaking change in the society. The CM lauded local ‘Bhamashahs’ for their innovative ideas and relentless efforts that transformed the future of Rajasthan. Today, the state treads on the road to development, all due to valuable contributions from local authorities, government and the general public.

Addressing the congregation assembled outside the Birla Auditorium, CM Raje felicitated 109 noble philanthropists and 31 social workers, who contributed a sum worth Rs 62.32 crores for developmental projects in schools and educational institutes.

With public help and support, the state has been able to set major landmarks in the field of the education sector, which includes:

  • Online school apps and portal,
  • Ed. internship program for teachers,
  • Aadarsh and Utkrisht Vidyalaya based on Vivekanand model,
  • Smart classes,
  • Parent Teachers meeting and
  • Modifying the existing education system.

As a result of these transformations, many students studying in private schools got transferred to the government schools. 12 lakh students were enrolled in various government schools across the state. These efforts have reflected on the result of students. Many students have given commendable performances in Class X, XII board examinations and college entrances.

This year, Rajasthan is going to be the first state in India to organize the biggest academic event of the country—Jaipur Education Festival. The festival will provide a global platform to make students familiar with latest innovations in education. It’s likely to open up new possibilities for growth of students.

The CM took this opportunity to inaugurate a book titled ‘Prashastiyan’.
