Rajasthan Govt. to open Out-Of-Turn job vacancies for victorious sportsmen

Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje addressed the gathering at the Maharana Pratap award and Guru Vashistha Award Ceremony at the S.M.S Stadium on Monday. Raje also reiterated the Rajasthan government’s intention to provide Out-Of-Turn employment to sportspersons in the state.

Recognising player’s talent

At the grand event categorically held to praise and acknowledge the various efforts of state players, CM Raje felicitated 41 players with the Maharana Pratap Award, 13 trainers with the Guru Vashistha Award and 41 players with the Rising Star Award. CM Raje also conferred the ‘Award of Excellence’ on three notable cricketers including the following:

Devendra Jhajharia, first Indian Paralympian who won two gold medals at the Paralympics
Cricketer Pankaj Singh
Rajat Chauhan, Arjuna Awardee
Sandeep Singh, Para-athlete

CM Raje appreciated the youth and motivated them to strive harder towards their aim.

Inauguration & foundation of Sports facilities

CM Raje inaugurated the ‘Basketball Arena’ and ‘Synthetic Running Track’ at the S.M.S Stadium. She also laid the foundation for ‘Tennis Arena’ and ‘Badminton Indoor Hall’.

CM Raje said that state players and trainers have made the entire state proud of their efforts. The state must motivate and encourage such sportspersons. Amidst an enthused audience, CM Raje informed that our players bagged 11 Gold, 7 Silver and 8 Copper medals in the last year. At the national level, Rajasthan players had won 33 Gold, 36 Silver, 31 Copper in the last year, CM Raje beamed.

Relentless efforts to boost Sports

CM Raje announced that Basketball, Hockey and Football players are receiving extensive training from International trainers who have an impressive record. Sports Confederation has appointed 205 trainers for a stipulate time frame. Rajasthan players who compete at International avenues are being granted plots and residential properties. A lavish Basketball court and an Indoor hall will be constructed at the ‘Chaugan Stadium’.

Rajasthan is treading on an unprecedented path of breakthrough victories in the field of sports, fitness and health. From creating conducive environment in the state for boosting sports to providing adequate facilities for growth and appropriate training process for sportsmen, Rajasthan will soon emerge as a sports hub in the country.

Officials like Arun Chaturvedi, Ramcharan Vohra, Mohan Lal Gupta, International Kabbadi Club Director, Janardan Singh Gehlot, among various other dignitaries were present at the event along with CM Vasundhara Raje.
