The cheerful faces of new Rajasthan women police recruits shone with ecstasy, pride and happy tears. Amidst cheers, excitement and great enthusiasm, proud female constables of Rajasthan police passed out from the Rajasthan police academy today. The passing out parade of the 66th female constable batch was held at 8:30 am in the RPA premises, near Panipech Circle, Nehru Nagar Jaipur. Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and key officers of the state, including home minister Gulabchand Kataria, DGP Manoj Bhatt and other senior officials of Rajasthan police were present on the venue to cheer new female constables.
188 new recruits, dressed in prim n proper police uniforms conducted the traditional parade as the crowd stood there in awe, cheering for their loved ones. Female constables took the oath in front of Rajasthan CM, who wished them good luck for their future endeavors. The best performers were felicitated by CM Raje in a special prize distribution ceremony, following the parade.
DGP Bhat, minister Kataria and the CM herself motivated the new recruits in their keynotes. Special performances put up by pipe bands, blind folded handling of weapons, UAC and flag hoisting by Police color party were the main highlights of this parade.
RPA director Mr. Rajiv Dasot took this opportunity to speak about the talented new Rajasthan police constables. As per Mr. Dasot, the 2016 batch is the best police constable batch in north India—an award that was granted in a training camp organized on 20th June last year. 188 trainees participated in this event, most of which hailed from rural Rajasthan.
Out of these, 95 trainees were from Jodhpur, 30 from Tonk, 17 from Rajsamand and 19 from Jaipur. Remaining 27 were from different districts of Rajasthan. The female constables were provided with rigorous training in indoor/outdoor activities, open firing, yoga, meditation and other physical/mental activities.

The new pass-outs are adept in running, weapon handling, firing, mob management, patrolling, ambush, escorting, VIP security, field craft, blockage etc. Realizing the importance of digital technologies in crime scene management, the department took special measures to train them in computer handling, digital record management, fingerprinting, foot print development and digital crime scene management.
Taking inspiration from all-women Udaipur police patrol team, the constables were trained to implement Mukhyamantri Balika Atmaraksha Yojana in Rajasthan. Under this scheme, specialized female constables of Rajasthan police will provide self-defense training to teenagers, especially women in schools and colleges.
