Rajasthan Races Against Time for Providing Immediate Medical Treatment & Digitally-Driven Quality Education to Children

Rajasthan Chief Minister Mrs. Vasundhara Raje laid the foundation stone of the underpass between SMS Hospital and Trauma Center on Tuesday.

The underpass construction will ensure that patients and their families escape traffic delays and reach Trauma Center from the SMS Hospital, at the earliest.

CM Raje took stock of all the models of the underpass. She also directed officials to race against time and ensure that the project is completed within the stipulated time of 15 months.

Shri Vaibhav Galalia, Commissioner of Jaipur Development Authority shed light on the infrastructure plan for the project. He gave information about the structure of shops and ramps which will be integrated into the project’s infrastructure plan.

With a whopping cost of Rs 15 crores spent on this project, a 34 meters long and 22.20 meters broad underpass was constructed on Tonk road. A total of 22 shops will be built in the underpass. In front of these shops there will be a 5-5 meter wide road to both sides.

For going to the underpass from SMS Hospital, a 53.60 meter long and 6 meter wide ramp and a 54 meter long and 4.5 meter wide ramp has been proposed for going from the Trauma Center to underpass. There will be stairs and lift facilities for going to the underpass from SMS Hospital and Troma Center.

Education Facilities take a digital leap

Chief Minister, Smt. Vasundhara Raje has instructed to prepare a plan for developing infrastructure facilities in collaboration with Bhamashahs in other schools, including Model and Excellent schools which have been conducting qualitative education in the state.

In the education review meeting, CM Raje said that the state government is making tremendous efforts to lift the level of education in the state. Model schools have been developed in about 4,500 panchayats and in this financial year, these schools will be developed in more than 5000 panchayats.

CM Raje also informed that more than 7 thousand schools will be connected to the internet facility this year. Computers will be provided to more than three and a half thousand schools. To ensure that children get education through digital medium, virtual class rooms have been set up in about 625 secondary and higher secondary schools of the state. About 145 other secondary and higher secondary schools will be set up by these classes until July this year. Also, 12 secondary and senior secondary schools in the state have been connected through solar energy.
