Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje will be leading the Rajasthan Delegation for INNOPROM 2016 where India is a Partner Country
Rajasthan has recently seen a complete overhaul in terms of reforms, development agenda as well as economic growth. Much buzz was created last year across several countries positioning Rajasthan as a land of opportunities in regards to investment in the State. The State Government became aggressive in the asset sector after Chief Minister Raje took over in December 2013. Raje had realized that to make and meet people’s expectations, she needs the State to flourish as an industry and agro hub, skill youths to bridge the employment gap and of course, downright revamp the policies.
As part of the same objective, Rajasthan is going to be a participant state at the International fair INNOPROM this year. INNOPROM is an annual event held in Ekaterinburg since 2010. It is one of the largest international trade fairs, with over 50000 participants, 600 industries and over INR 30 billion worth of partnerships. It is a trade fair rooted in the priorities driving world industry and technology at present – and on the priorities that underpin Russia’s program of industrial and manufacturing development, that perfectly mounts with India’s ambitious Make in India and Raje’s Resurgent Rajasthan plan.
The theme of INNOPROM this year is Industrial Net. The key subjects shall be the areas of sustainable integration of industrial production and data transfer based the Internet of Things (IoT) technology, new manufacturing system architecture, International production cooperation: resources, production facilities and development centers dispersed across the world are combined in a single network and new model of efficient manufacturing for traditional industries. INNOPROM sets out a platform for international cooperation. The sharply-focused events within the scope of INNOPROM are themed around the most pressing issues and the agenda is shaped by the interests and opinions of industry experts. Globally-respected experts give their input and insight on pivotal matters of concern. It would be interesting to see Rajasthan stand out amongst world leaders with CM Vasundhara Raje at the wheel.

The State of Rajasthan will get special highlight at the INNOPROM 2016. In the three day event, Chief Minister Raje shall be participating in the opening ceremony along with the day 2 session ‘Russian-Indian business forum «Russia – India: new industrialization and industrial partnership»’ and the Partner Country session for India. On day 3, she shall visit the international exhibition center expo and attend the presentation on Rajasthan in «Investment Opportunities in Indian States» session. While direct contacts with the global and Russian producers is a big plus, Rajasthan shall also be making a presentation marketing itself as the perfect investment destination for internationalization and sales growth. International and inter-industrial networking is good for any state, specially for Rajasthan, since Chief Minister Raje has put Investment as the number one bullet point.
Apart from Rajasthan, Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Chandrababu Naidu shall also be attending INNOPROM 2016 along with their respective state delegations.
It is noteworthy here that Chief Minister Raje has clubbed her INNOPROM visit with visits to St. Petersburg, Moscow and Dubai. While in the Moscow leg of her trip, CM Raje shall meet the business and industry leaders of Russian Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the Saint Petersburg visit is more inclined towards partnerships in the field of Art and Culture. The Dubai visit could be inclined towards finding growth opportunities for developing integrated townships, theme parks and convention centres in the state.
Rajasthan has always been known as a culturally rich desert state of India. With Raje at the helm of affairs, Rajasthan is slowly yet gradually developing the image of an emerging Global State that has much more to offer than just castles and fairytales.
