Rajasthan- Second Time Winner of Skill Development Award

Nation’s largest state Rajasthan, again bags the prestigious Skill Development Award this year at the Skilling India Summit Cum Awards organized by ASSOCHAM committee with full support provided by Union Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. Her state being a second time winner of this strong developmental symbol, Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje was heartily congratulated by Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Minister of Skill Development. He praised her by saying, “Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje is herself leading skill development from the front, and she has been able to create a very successful programme in Rajasthan, which is showing the way to other states.

We can surely take an idea from CM Raje’s announcements in this year’s budget that how determined she is regarding the growth of various skills and talents of her state. Around 58 crore have been allocated for installation of Centres of Excellence in 29 Industrial Training Institutes by the coming three years. Along with this 86,000 students will be fully employed under the scheme LIFE – Livelihood in Full Employment, with funds worth of Rs 354 crore.

Among the many attendees of this award ceremony were the investors, leaders of the industry, regulators and policy makers from State and Central Government, experts from training and academic centers etc. Hope Rajasthan has inspired others to pull up their socks and run faster in this race of development, otherwise with such great preparation by the Rajasthan government, it looks like a hat trick for it is on the cards.
