#RajasthanDiwas Day 4: End to the Celebration!

Rajasthan was founded on 30th March 1949 and since then day has been celebrated as the Rajasthan Diwas. On the occasion a 4 day event was planned in the capital city Jaipur. The pink city witnessed various programmes throughout the 4 day celebrations. From bhajans to Bollywood musical nights to Para motor show, the festival covered every section of the society be it childeren, Army, sports, cultural, entertainment etc.

The festival ended on 30th March on the occasion of Rajasthan Diwas. People celebrated the festival with high zest and enthusiasm. The government scheduled the best for the last day. The event commenced with a parade by camels adorned beautifully and divided in various group followed by horses with coordinated walk. Following them were the defence troops parading on the Janpath showing their perfection. The Rajasthan Vidhan Sabha and Amar Jawan Jyoti was marvellously lit and decorated.

The event progressed with the navy band troop playing the famous tracks and patriotic songs. Later then a ‘black out’ was scheduled where all the lights were turned off including the road lights to focus on the Vidhan Sabha where amazing light and sound show was conducted. Soon after that on the amar jawan jyoti, a white round screen was dangled where a presentation on how Rajasthan has developed throughout in various sectors like infrastructure, education, tourism etc was show. The presentation was accompanied by a spellbound laser show.

The event came to end with miraculous and astonishing fireworks and national anthem at the end. The dignitaries included the Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, Governor of Rajasthan Kalyan Singh, Tourism Minister Smt Krishnendra Kaur, etc. That was indeed a remarkable end to the Rajasthan Festival 2016.
