4 Years back, in 2013 Raje-led Rajasthan BJP progressed on the path of ‘Suraaj’ (good governance) in the hopes of developing sound, economically stable Rajasthan—brimming with opportunities for every age group. In course of its journey, CM Vasundhara Raje unleashed powerful weapons like Annpurna Bhandar, Annapurna Rasoi, GRAM, Jal Swavlamban, Aashray and Deendayal Upadhyay Jan Kalyan Shivir—schemes that aimed at accelerating growth in all key sectors of development. In last three years, Rajasthan BJP accomplished great milestones like Skill Development Award and improved child sex ratio in state.

Now, the government is hoping to repeat the grand success of ‘Nyay Aapke Dwar’ and ‘Aapka Zila, Aapki Sarkar’—modern revenue Lok adalats and public camps in different districts to resolve public cases pending since a long time. Keeping these goals in mind, Rajasthan BJP members held a state-level review committee meeting to prepare a roadmap for future.

Knowing that 2018 Rajasthan state assembly elections are around the corner, BJP is planning to set bigger, more substantial landmarks in education, agriculture, health and childcare sectors. In the state review meeting chaired by BJP leaders, CM Vasundhara Raje encouraged her ministers to promote government schemes in remote villages and cities in Rajasthan so that more people can avail the benefits of public policies.

State BJP president Ashok Parnami inspired the party workers to brace up for the upcoming elections. He asked the activists to complete pending projects before the scheduled deadlines. Having said this, he set targets for the upcoming state assembly and parliamentary elections. The party is aiming at achieving 180 seats in the impending 2018 Rajasthan elections and at least 25 seats in the Loksabha election—a target set by chief minister Vasundhara Raje.

The CM started the first session of review committee meeting by lighting a lamp before Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay—the forefather of Bhartiya Jan Sangh. The government will hold the second session of the meeting on Thursday. Through these meetings, the party will try to accomplish their development-centric goals before 2020.
