On Tuesday, Ramdev spoke at Agenda AajTak and said that, he will continue with yoga until his last moments. He mentioned, ” Business is just a by-product of yoga; it comes on its own. Yoga is the art of identifying oneself. Anyone who practices yoga can achieve not 100 per cent but 200 per cent growth”.
During the early 2016, the CEO of Patanjali, Acharya Balkrishna, was reported as India’s 26th richest man. To this, Ramdev said, “I have no black money or white money. Acharya Balkrishna is a CEO with no salary”. He was asked if he agrees with all things what PM Modi says, to which he replies, “Modi ji is everything, I’m nothing”. He also talked about the opposite, Mamta Banerjee and said, ” Anyone in a democracy can dream to be the Prime Minister. Anyone born here is an asset for the country.” Also, he called UP chief minister a “good guy”.
When he was asked about his terms with Lalu Prasad Yadav, he said, “I simply taught him Kapalbhanti and Anulom-Vilom Pranayam to tackle some physical discomfort”.
Moving further, he said, “I don’t have any enmity with anyone. I even wish for Rahul and Sonia Gandhi’s good health. Had I wanted, I could have sought revenge from Sonia-Nehru families, but I never did so. An ascetic doesn’t take revenge, he only works for development”.
He was also gauged about his plans in politics, to which he said, “If ever such a time comes, I will save the country from any danger. But I will never take a political position”.
In the area of education, he puts his thoughts like, “I want to bring an education system like that of Britain to the country, where people from every stratum can access higher education”.
He also added that, “If government’s fail to do it, I will make it happen”.
