A new list of the most desirable men of the year in India has been released by Times according to the votes given by the people. Not to anyone’s surprise the Bajirao Ranveer Singh has fetched the first position. The star felt extremely happy and honoured that he is being considered as the most desirable man of the country. The voting was done online throughout the country and on the basis of the same the coveted list has been made.
When the Rick Bhel actor heard about the news he said, “I am thrilled that I am considered the Most Desirable Man in India today. Whatever it is, it feels wonderful to be called that. The dictionary meaning of desirability is ‘someone high on sex appeal’. In my case, iss baat mein koi sandeh nahin hai. When I was launched in 2010, people told me that I wasn’t the best looking guy, so I would have to act really well. I am aware that I am not conventionally good looking. I have heard it so many times that I have started believing it. Aditya Chopra had told me, ‘You are not very good looking, so you have to act. I can’t sell you on a poster to people; they have to watch you to like you.’ I have grown up believing that when an individual excels at what he does, it makes him desirable. I am a living example that lack of conventional good looks shouldn’t hinder you from being awesome.”
The hot and very in-form Indian player and Captain of India Cricket Team for test matches, Virat Kohli begged the second position. Pakistani actor Fawad Khan who debuted in Bollywood against Sonam Kapoor in Khoobsurat is at number 3 followed by Hrithik Roshan and Sidharth Malhotra at number 4 and 5 respectively. Also, Shaandar actor Shahid Kapoor, young & charismatic Varun Dhawan and the Rockstar Ranbir Kapoor made it to top 10 most desirable men of India in 2015.
Apart from these there are some new enterants for the first time in the coveted list like Sooraj Pancholi at number 17, Gautam Gulati at number 22, Shikhar Dhawan at number 28 and Kartik Aryaan at number 32.
