RELIANCE JIO: Starts home delivery of SIMs. Company looking to attract larger customer base

Reliance Jio SIM free Home Delivery

In a bid to entice volumes of customers and customer groups, The Mukesh Ambani-led Telecom operator, Reliance Jio has now started the home delivery of its SIMs. This is a strategic move to rope in scores of customers in a very short period. This move is integrated into the company’s operations to bolster the Subscriber acquisition rate .

What’s interesting ? Reliance Jio is the only telecom company to have gained a subscriber base of 24 million in a period as less as 3 months. And this is the first Indian company to have achieved rocketing subscriptions in such a brief period, so to say.  However ,as far as the organic growth is concerned, the company has not gained numbers .

A source who  closely watches the company’s operations and recent developments informed a media agency,”This is a new way to reach out to the consumers who don’t have a Jio SIM. We will be approaching more savvy customers at first for this program. The company is working on making the delivery efficient and super fast as well.”

If the sources are to believed, firstly , the company is perhaps considering to produce low – cost, 4G Volte ready feature phones.Secondly , the offer valid for the existing Jio users might as well be extended to a later date .This goes on to say that the FreeCalls – FreeInternet offer which is valid till 31st Dec is likely to be extended until  March 2017.  As a matter of fact, Reliance Jio offers includes its free services since its official launch on 5 September 2016 under the “Welcome Offer”. If the offer is extended till March 2017 , the users are likely to be in a highly advantageous position. Afterall, who wouldn’t appreciate free Internet for nearly one half of a year in this time and age ?!
