Rajasthan is the largest state of the country and undoubtedly one of the most vibrant states. Rajasthan is a perfect place to witness the amalgamation of royalty, heritage and modernization at the same time. The princely state of Rajasthan was formed on 30th March 1949 and since then the day has always been celebrated as the Rajasthan Diwas. Rajasthan and its people have always been known for their bravery and valour. The land of Rajasthan is popular for its majestic forts and museums, its splendid culture and traditions and for its glorious history.

Rajasthan diwas is celebrated on every 30th March with great zeal and enthusiasm. People of Rajasthan on this day dip into their culture and folk traditions and relive their existence as a Rajasthani. The people of Rajasthan are joyful and so are their fests and festivals. The hospitable residents of the state always welcome their guests saying, ‘Padharo Mhare Desh’ and once again they are all set to warmly welcome the visitors from all round the country to be a part of the spectacular four day event on the occasion of ‘Rajasthan Diwas’.

Every year, the ‘Rajastha Diwas’ is celebrated throughout the state with great effort to reveal and honor the heritage, culture and traditions of Rajasthan. People of the state come together on this joyous occasion and celebrate the uniqueness of the state’s culture and traditions by performing several activities. The beautiful pink city and the capital city Jaipur is decorated with glittering lights and vibrant colors followed by a planned set of functions. The government of the state plans a colorful event every year on the occasion of Rajasthan Diwas and similarly has planned a magnificent and an impressive 4 day event this year that will certainly leave all the audience awe struck.

Rajasthan government is all set to throw at the visitors an extravagant show scheduled in the capital city Jaipur which also happens to be the largest city of the state. The 4 day event will commence on 27th March with the opening ceremony at the famous Albert Hall. A camel tattoo event has been organized to honor the ship of the desert and the state animal ‘Camel’. The event would continue till 30th March 2016 with various cultural events planned for each day.

Rajasthan Diwas

The second day of the event will begin with the bhajans at the eminent and the pious Laxmi Narayan Mandir situated at the Birla Mandir. Afterwards in the daytime adventure sports festival will be organized which have proposed activities like Hot Air Ballooning, Para Motoring, Rock Climbing, Aero modeling, ATV rides, Horse Riding, land Sailing etc. These adventurous activities have been scheduled at the SMS Investment Ground. Apart from this, ‘Akashganga’ a sky diving show by IAF and then a BSF Camel Show has been organized later in the evening. Also,Children Film Festival at the Inox Crystal Palm Multiplex and International Festival of Short Films on Culture and tourism at JKK has been organized . To promote the sports in the state the government has organized various games like Run for Rajasthan, Kabaddi,Kushti, Kho-Kho etc. Towards the end of the day, a grand evening has been set where the Bollywood sensation Arijit Singh will mesmerise you with his majestic voice.

The third day of the event will start with Bhakti Sangeet at the Khole Ke Hanuman Ji. A golf tournament has been organized in the JDA Golf Course and then the same activities as were planned on second day will be continued on the third day as well. Along with these, classical dances of India, Fashion Show and a thrilling Rap Show have been organized.

The last and the fourth day of the event will too begin with the Bhajans at the Govind Dev Ji Temple and will be followed by the same events as were organized on the previous two days. The important thing to note here is that the closing ceremony will be organized at the Janpath and the event will be ended splendid laser show which has always been the best part of the event.
