Rishi Kapoor lashes Gandhi family

The versatile and noted Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor has always been active on Twitter.  His tweets had a number of times made him fall in a controversy. Yet again he did the same. In a series of tweetes the actor took down to the Gandhi family over naming properties and assets. His latest series of tweets are probably the most volatile and tensed attack ever made against the Gandhi family by a person in general over naming certain properties on their name.

The veteran actor lately took it to the micro blogging site and said, “Change Gandhi family assets named by Congress. Bandra/Worli Sea Link to Lata Mangeshkar or JRD Tata link road.” Here is strongly lashed the big names of the Gandhi khandan, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi. Baap ka maal samjh rakha tha?”

In his next tweets he questioned the naming of assests after the Gandhi family. He tweeted, “If roads in Delhi can be changed why not Congress assets/property ke naam? Was in Chandigarh wahan bhi Rajeev Gandhi assets? Socho? Why? (sic)”

He further tweeted, “We must name important assets of the country who have contributed to society. Har cheez Gandhi ke naam? I don’t agree. Sochna log! (sic).”

No, he didn’t stop here. He continued with, “Why Indira G airport International ? Why not Mahatma Gandhi or Bhagat Singh Ambedkar or on my name Rishi Kapoor. As superficial! What say? (sic).” And expressed his displeasure over the Delhi’s international airport. Rishi Kapoor demanded that the current name of the film City shall also be changed. In his next tweet he said, “Film City should be named Dilip Kumar,Dev Anand,Ashok Kumar ya Amitabh Bachchan ke naam? Rajeev Gandhi udyog Kya hota hai? Socho doston! (sic).”

“Imagine Mohamad Rafi Mukesh Manna Dey Kishore Kumar venues on their name like in our country. Just a suggestion (sic),” Rishi Kapoor added in a tweet.

He added, “Raj Kapoor has made India proud over the years all over even  after his death. Certainly more than What has been perceived by politics.”

Let us tell you this is not the first time that his tweets had created a controversy. Well, now it would be interesting to see how the Gandhi pariwar will counter this.
