Google has got a grip over the mobile world through its two series, Nexus and Motorola. Nexus being a high priced smartphone series while Motorola ones are relatively budget phones. Former brand of Google is about to introduce the world with its new entry. Its rumored codename name is ‘Sailsfish’ and we all can guess how smartly Google played with the word ‘Selfie’. The news is that Nexus Sailfish has risen up on two benchmarking websites, AnTuTu and Geekbench. According to both these websites and their benchmark listings, Google’s Nexus Sailfish is one smartphone which runs on Andriod Nougat Manufacturer Release 1.

The much awaited feature of Nexus Sailfish is its full HD resolution display of 1080×1920 pixels. Along with it the new smartphone will have processor quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 with a gift of 4GB RAM. As far as the memory is concerned, Sailfish will be equipped with an internal storage of 32GB which will of course be extendable.

Google has never compromised on the camera quality of its phones and this trend continues with Nexus’ latest edition which will have an 8 mega pixel front camera and a 13 mega pixel rear camera.

For us getting to use Android’s latest version Nougat was special enough but for Google this is not the case. With Nexus SailFish the company has not only planned to use Android Nougat but there will be feature called “Nexus Launcher” with novel animations and app folders. Images of this new Nexus Launcher have recently made to float the internet world and people are liking them. Through the pictures you can see how the launcher will be ditching the app drawer icon and will replace a frosted glass design which will hide it.

Basically, on the home screen, the usual Google search bar tool has been removed and to take its place a small icon will appear on the topmost corner of the screen. This icon will be made to integrate more functionalities and it can be turned off anytime the user wishes to through settings. Nexus’ launcher will also be accompanied by new Google Now on Tap design.

It is being said that the two new devices of Google Nexus will be fashioned by HTC. Being a Taiwanese tech giant, HTC has previously worked with Google for making of Nexus tablets and did a good job. After ‘Saifish’ the next one is codenamed as ‘Marlin’ and it is supposed to be more technically powerful than ‘Sailfish’.
