Salman Khan launched ‘Radio’ song from Tubelight in Dubai and not in India . Know why

The first song from the most anticipated film of the year ‘Tubelight’ has been released. Named as Radio, this song captures Salman in a light mood after hearing a piece of good news.

The ‘Pearl of the Persian Gulf’, Dubai hosted the magnum opus Tubelight  song launch, the event which saw Salman Khan, brother Sohail Khan, director Kabir Khan in attendance. Amidst the shrieking noise of obsessive fans of Bjarangi Bhaijaan, Salman launched ‘Radio’ along with the film’s entourage.

The song is called ‘Radio’ as Salman hears the good news that his brother is safe and alive on Radio.

Salman plays the role of a child-man in the film, which also stars Chinese actress Zhu Zhu, child performer Matin Rey Tangu and Sohail Khan. To top it, Tubelight has also managed to bring along the priceless pairing of the two most popular Khans – Salman and friend Shah Rukh Khan. Shah Rukh will be seen doing a much coveted cameo role in the film.

The veteran director Kabir Khan has infused all elements in the film to ensure that the film is a full plate for the audience. The aim is to break the blockbuster records of blockbuster hit ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, the last Kabir-Salman film.

The film has already earned a whopping 277 crores by selling Music rights, theatrical rights amongst other revenue sources for the film even before its release.

The filmmakers wanted to recreate the feel and aura which was portrayed in the Remo D’Souza choreographed ‘Selfie Le Le’ song in Bajrangi. They therefore roped in choreographer D’Souza for this film too. The film’s soundtrack has been composed by the ever talented Pritam, who had created some soulful music in Bajrangi too.

On being asked why Dubai, Salman Khan said that he was shooting in this area and hence chose to launch the song here itself.
