With just few days to the 69th Indian Independence Day our patriotism is at an all time high and the Reliance Group has launched a distinctive, first of its kind campaign to acknowledge, thank and salute our Indian Armed Fleet. The #SaluteSelfie campaign is an initiative recognized the work of the Indian Armed Forces and gives us Indians a chance to express our gratitude for the guardians of our security.
The campaign has brought together Indians from all walks of life, who have risen to the occasion to participate in this campaign to show their support for our officers. From superstars to the common man, the patriotic campaign has received an incredible response. Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan, among many others, became part of the campaign and updated a post on his Facebook account with the message “#SaluteSelfie .. a salute to our ‘jawans’ who sacrifice their lives so we can sleep in peace…’’, which is now trending as Amitabh Bachchan salute selfie.
The campaign has attracted prominent personalities from different fields and the likes of Shah Rukh Khan, Virender Sehwag, Asha bhosle, John Abraham, Shahid Kapoor, Saina Nehwal, Rishi Kapoor, Remo D’souza, Sushmita Sen, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Anil Kapoor, along withe several others have already taken part in the Salute Selfie campaign.
