World, the dry state of India, Gujarat has now another reason to be visited and talked about. The first ever aviation park will set up in the state. Latest reports say that the Gujarat state government has planned to take Gujarat another step forward by building the country’s first ever aviation park in the state.
It has been proposed that the aviation park will provide various facilities like training schools, various helipads, an airstrip and space for small manufacturing units. The main aim behind setting up this aviation park is to spread awareness among the students, policy makers, business entities and other professionals about the potential of the aviation sector.
The park will be developed on a 60 acres land 30 kms away from the city beautiful Ahemdabad. This aviation park will help create direct and indirect employment. The responsibility of developing the country first Aviation Park has been given to the Government-owned Gujarat State Aviation Infrastructure Company Ltd. (GUJSAIL).
“This will be a first ever Aviation Park in India. There are hardly 3 or 4 such parks in the world. We have identified 60 hectares of land near Bagodara. Now, we will conduct a feasibility study of that location and hoping to finalize that location after government approval by the end of this financial year,” said the CEO Captain of GUJSAIL Ajay Chauhan. “We have planned various activities here including training and licensing of staff. This park will also be involved with aspects of air operation regulations, safety, security, environmental concerns, research and development, aviation-related policies etc,” he added.
